Canton Restaurant - Chao Ca Cho Cu

Food is so good but the restaurant kind of old.

Really great food! Ordered the fish porridge, dill fish house special, egg rolls, wonton soup, filet house special, and che. Everything was really good and hit the spot.

We ordered bbq fish platter, which is their special dish and fish porridge, good food, good service. Once I ordered chowfun, it didn't feel disappointing even though it wasn't their specialty

This restaurant had been our favorite place for chả cá hồng every time we visited Little Saigon until our recent visit in early August, 2018! Unfortunately, They no longer served cá hồng and substituted it with catfish!! When the lady owner came to our table and asked us how we were doing and how the food was, we asked her about the fish. She insisted that they still served cá hồng and ordered the fish in big cases. But we know what we eat and this restaurant had been the only restaurant that served chả cá hồng that we know of and now, we have to look elsewhere! Hic!!

If any of you know of any Vietnamese restaurant in Little SG that serve cá hồng for their chả cá dish, please let us know ASAP because we are going to visit Little SG again next weekend! Thanks!

Ordered the BBQ Sizzling Fish platter (serves 2 people) and the fish porridge. The fish platter came out smoking hot and is served with a few other side dishes. Must give this a try, it's so good! Every table at the restaurant had 1-2 of this on their table. Oh yeah, don't forget to order chinese doughnuts with the porridge
