We are locals and always enjoy eating here with family and friends, typically on every Friday night. The food is reliably tasty and varied, and the service is excellent. They have been in business here for a long time, so they have become one of the foundations of our community. They welcome families and children, and our young grandchildren love eating here since they treat the children as if they are their own family members.

We always make a reservation, since they are inundated on weekends, especially on holidays and when rough weather has impacted Hwy 80. Last-minute drop-ins are difficult for them to fit in since there is a high demand for seats in a remote area with few other options, so please call in advance for a reservation, if you can, or be willing to wait a while in front of the fire until a table opens. This is a family-run place, and is not a chain, which makes it fun and quite charming. Abby is also a master- decorator and the eclectic interior art and decorations include her own quilts, antique collectibles, and unique country art. We recommend it highly!
