The Buffet at Thunder Valley Casino

I've noticed over the years from coming here they started going down in the quality. But within the past couple months I've noticed either they got better cooks or better supply chain and the food has gotten a lot better just like it used to be. I just wish they'd bring back the king crab on Sundays. I think that would set them over the top. They used to have it but they took it away for whatever reason. Me and the family used to love coming here on every Sundays and eating that king crab. Now it's every once in a while. Bring back the king crab guarantee you profit margin will go up. Just ask Jackson Rancheria they got it every Sunday and it's phenomenal

I don't typically go to buffets; I just don't eat enough to spend the money. But yesterday was Senior day at Thunder Valley and you get half off your meal so I thought I'd try it.

The buffet has a good variety of food: Asian, Italian, Mediterranean, American, Mexican, sweets an salad sections. The salad bar was very fresh, with lots of bread choices and soups. Most of the food is pretty good, some not so much. What I liked most was the carving area where you could get carved turkey or prime rib. The prime rib was a little too red for me, but the turkey was nice and moist.
The complaint I had was that the line was way long, not enough cashiers and having to wait too long to get seated. However, once seated, the service person was right there to take our drink order, brought us extra napkins and was very attentive while eating our meal.

I would still day go there and try it out. Even if you don't eat a lit, you can find something you like.

Not too long a wait for seating. Very clean and the employees are very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The choices of food were very well mixed and presented, as to Asian, Italian, Mexican, and American cuisine. Very yummy and satisfying for sure. Really like the buffet.

Today... it was ONLY $3 for my Buffet lunch! Cuz I played slots the last time we were there (I won enough to pay the $60 dinner bill!)... but I got $3 for my slot machine play, the last time we were there. All and all... it's some great days of buffet dining at Thunder Valley!!!
