Great food and service. Relaxing atmosphere. They lost one star because this is the second time we had someone in our group order the cheese platter and the second time all the rest of the food was brought out and after waiting awhile we had to ask for them to serve the one person at the table who had no food. I can not explain this as I feel a cheese platter is the easiest to prepare food we ordered.

Monks Cellar is not just a brewery, but a nice place for lunch and dinner. The decor is very nice, the food excellent and the custom brews amazing. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but it is worth a walk if necessary. I tried the turkey, bacon and avocado sandwich on this visit with the fries that are cooked in duck fat. The sandwich was large and very tasty, and the fries really good too. We had excellent service from their very attentive staff. I've only had a few of the custom brews and all I can say is DELIGHTFUL!

We enjoyed the food we ordered a little greasy for me but was good. Nice treat we used a gift card that was gifted to us. Our dessert was very good. Laid back feel, very friendly and helpful staff. It was our first time here. It was a few months ago. Looks like a fun happy hour place.

Went here to pick up the very first bottle they have ever released! The beer is called divinity. The bottle itself looks amazing, and tried the same beer on tap. It is a heavy hitter, coming in at a 13%, but the flavor is great. I only recommend it to those who like stouts.

The Monk's Cellar is a nice local brewery and restaurant. Food and beer is consistently good, but service is really hit or miss. Which is unfortunate. The place has a lot going for it. I have found that when the place is close to empty you may be waiting for several minutes before your even acknowledge or seen by an employee. And if you choose to sit outside you might be waiting again for a while before your order is taken. The staff is friendly, the service when you get it is great. It just not consistent on service quality. Which is a shame. It has such potential.
