Bridgetender Tavern and Grill

It is a nice place. If you stay outside has nice view of the Truckee river. The food is good, little pricey. I liked the ribs, the fish and chips was not that good, the fish was a bit chewy. The kids liked the hot dog. The side of fries is really big it is for at least 2 people.

Located at Fanny bridge at the outlet dam of Lake Tahoe, this American fare restaurant has been a local favorite for 40 years. The indoor area has cozy booth and table seating and an ample bar that is popular with locals looking for a post work shifter. In the summer they open a patio seating area with satellite bar that runs along the river below the dam. It's a perfect choice for a relaxing lunch after waking or biking the path that parallels the river. The burgers are popular and the tater tots are a must.

Amazing place. They have an old school look and the drinks are really good. We tried some sandwich and garlic fries there and it was just delicious. Their horseradish sauce is the freshest I have ever had. The pricing is also good. Wonderful place to spend an evening alone or with friends.
