“I am giving this place a five for their amazing view and the value for money. They have stunning lake view that just took our breath away. We walked in without a reservation but still able to get a outdoor table since it just got rained on. It was a bit chilly out there in the evening but the view won us over for sure. We enjoyed the pizza most out of all, the steak/pasta/salad are a little disappointing comparatively.”

“The view is incredible! Eating outside on a cool summer evening looking over lake Tahoe is probably one of the best places around. We were a little disappointed with the food, the salsa was pretty much had no flavor. The chips were good, the cheese was to die for. We had the fish tacos, and not a lot of spices or flavor. Not bad but we expected a little bit better.”

“Come here for extraordinary well-balanced drinks and the best bar food you’ve ever eaten. Go for happy hour, stick around for dinner, and don't worry about quick service (it isn't). The pizza (we had Hawaiian Punch and Green Meanie) were fantastic. Street tacos were delicious and clearly homemade. Happy hour (3-6pm, M-F) is discounted drinks and a dollar off tacos.”

“Best BBQ I've had! We had the ribs and the pulled pork, both of which were so smoky and juicy! The ribs were melt in your mouth good and fell right off the bone! Service was great, and the bartender was very knowledgeable about the menu as a whole. The BBQ sauce was so good that we bought a jar for us, and two more jars for friends! This place is right on the waterfront with amazing views of Lake Tahoe, and yet it was very fairly priced! We are already planning to come back when/if the Lord provides for us to visit this area again!”

“Try this place. It is adorable in every way. The building is so cute, with it’s cozy patio in front, and the inside is charming. The service was friendly and we felt as if we were in a neighborhood cafe that just happens to be steps from the Truckee River, Dam, and all of those gorgeous trees. We had a sandwich, raspberry coffee cake, and they carry Clean drinks and much more. The bacon was so good, do breakfast. When you go to Tahoe this is the kind of place you are hoping to find and revisit every time you go. It is a real gem. If you want local, this is a must. What a treat, thank you for the food and welcome environment.”

“The Dam Café is situated right near the creek in Tahoe City, on the corner of an insanely busy intersection. It’s a cute cafe, with a small but adequate selection of expensive (but all the food around here is) sandwiches and smoothies. I had the Neptune Tuna Sandwich- The tuna is made with the interesting twist of grated carrot. I enjoyed the sandwich and recommend the Dam cafe if you’re looking for a casual lunch at small hightop or a table outside.”
