We previously had an unpleasant experience, however, the manager was extremely quick to make up for the mistakes that were made, and provide a marvelous new opportunity for us to really enjoy the Ra experience so I am writing a new review.
The location of Ra is quite beautiful, there is a nice plaza, and it’s very nice for a date night or a nice walk after dinner.
The restaurant itself is small and cozy, and has a little bar, and a nice atmosphere and decor. The staff is friendly and attentive.
The food is AMAZING! Definitely the reason we will keep coming back, it is so delicious! Some of our favorite unique menu items that cannot compare to anywhere else are the Shishito Peppers, the Garlic Edamame, and the Smoky Salmon Roll. Truly delectable! We will definitely be coming back for our date nights!
Ra Sushi is one of the best sushi restaurants I have been to in the country. I have been to the one in Miami Beach and it is always awesome. Different items than regular sushi places. Service is always good and drinks are great. If I am in another city with a RA I will definitely go.
Pleasant little restaurant. Ate here during happy hour on a Saturday night. There were decently priced snacks, appetizers, rolls and drinks on their modest happy hour menu The staff was pretty friendly, the food was relatively good and the portions were fine. So, I do recommend it, but I just didn't find anything about this place that really stood out as great or particularly unique. I would definitely come back again, but not a place that ranks on my list as a "must return here!" type of location.
Had a great time here. They allow you to bring your own wine ($15 corkage fee). Food was fresh and tasty. Service was great.
Good fresh sushi and other Japanese food. Happy hour from 5 to 7 every day except Saturday. It includes food and drinks from a limited menu, but it's still a good deal. Still a good place to eat even without happy hour. Fridays and Saturday nights can be crowded but there is ample parking nearby. My understanding is that RA Sushi is part of Benihana, but I find it more intimate and comfortable
