Sunshine Café

This used to be one of my favorite places but since opening back up after covid it has gone downhill. Food quality is inconsistent with it being more bad than good. They need a couple of good cooks and they will be okay. Service is always outstanding ( big kudos to Ruby!) and the drinks are good. Mike at night is the bomb !!

A group of 11 of us from Canada came and ate here tonight. wow great job. We arrived late to the area hotel and needed to have a home cooked meal. Every order was done perfectly and got our orders all at once. Im not talking deep fried orders. We had the steak 3different ways and everyone was bang on. So good burger was excellent homemade. All of us recommend this place to eat. You won’t be disappointed.

The food was good. I had the Pacific omelette and it was loaded with crispy bacon which is always good. Service and turn around wasn't the quickest but it strangely added to the experience since the place had an old timey feel. Things don't come fast but it was good.

Absolutely amazing!! Shoutout to Eddie(y) for his fantastic table service. You can normally predict how good the overall service would be (yes even how good the food will be) based on the initial energy brought by the waiter. He was charismatic and courteous. Every waiter usually asks if you would like to start off which drinks, to which we ordered orange juice. Without questioning or asking, he speedily brought us our drinks as well as - WATER!!!! Its the little things like this kind of special attention that a customer like myself, truly enjoys and makes the experience that much more enjoyable. The food was AMAZING!!!! It was calm and had a vintage ambiance. I think I probably lived a different life in the '30s - '50s because places like this just bring out the life and happiness in me.

Love this place, Food is always great, staff helpful and great, great vibes even the guests are a good sort of and are affable. The cooks do a great job and there child size portions for kids. This whole hotel is a great place to spend the day or a few days. My wife Jerri says that when she stays here she feels like she came home. She said that this place has all you need to have a great time. Great water, great drinks, great food and great people. Front desk and gift shop, lifeguards really care.
