Wow! So so good. One of the best steak sandwiches I've ever had, amazing cocktails, and great specialty drinks like their matcha. Me and everyone at my table loved it all. Highly recommend

Great place. Very welcoming. When we arrived they let us know they were experimenting with a new menu. The Gaucho Sandwich was perfect. Great taste, great size, and perfect combination of flavors. Customer Service was also too tier. Definitely will be coming back to see if they have a different dinner menu.

Wow, this place is amazing -- I'm so glad my partner and I stopped in! We were looking for a place with vegan options, and they definitely didn't disappoint. Great food, great drinks, and the owner / head chef Stuart (sp?) was super friendly. He and his wife are big into sustainability, so bonus points for that! Highly recommend to anyone in the mood for fine food and libations in Idyllwild.

P.S. -- the current owner and his wife bought the place in July 2021, so you can safely disregard reviews older than 1 year 😉

Cafe Aroma is a charming spot nestled in the forest, and one of two restaurants in Idyllwild I trust to cook me a delicious gluten free meal, and where I trust to take my out of town visitors for an enjoyable dining experience. I pick Aroma for celebrations, for dates, for family dinners, for last minute reservations with friends. The owners are beyond sweet, accommodating and care very much about their customers. This is obvious not only from the conversations we have, but by the ever-evolving menu and improvements they've made since they acquired this local gem in summer 2021. We can't wait until music comes back, all in perfect time!
