Omg this was my first time trying Jamaican food and oh lord was it delicious! I’m so happy my aunt took me here to Jamdung in Moreno Valley ! I ordered yellow curry chicken and jerk chicken with red beans and rice and cabbage and plantains! I swear it was so delicious and satisfying to eat! Great location plenty of parking. The lady and the guy working there was so nice and friendly. I also got like 7 Seamoss drinks to go . They are healthy and tasty as well. Weekends they serve festival bread so I’m coming back this sat coming up. I can’t wait to take the entire family to eat here. Real authentic ethnic food here I promise you! Don’t miss out on this place ! I also tasted the brown stew chicken my aunt ordered and it was so good! Not sure what imma get next but I’m going again soon! Enjoy!!!!
Absolutely delicious. Been here in MO Val for 8 yrs now and this is the first Jamaican Food Restaurant who has real authentic Jamaican food 5 stars hands down. Service was great very friendly people. I never tried goat before and i was able to sample it. I ordered curry chicken and brown stew chicken my husband ordered the ox tails and a side of jerk chicken and everything we ordered was Great. Thanks for blessing us with Official Caribbean Food.
As a native from Mo Val I was excited to hear about this new establishment. I went yesterday 10/21 and got the chicken soup, oxtails, and jerk chicken. All plates came with the regular sides cabbage, peas and rice, and plantains. I also bought the pineapple, ginger, and lemon drink sugar free and with sugar added for those diet restrictions in the group. The food is truly delicious and I have pretty well balanced palette. 😉 The food is five stars hands down however the lack of availability in serving customers, was a bit daunting. There were two employees and at one point the gentleman in the back had to go buy cooking oil. It wasn’t a problem but if service continues to grow I can see it being very problematic. With that being said I returned the following day 10/22 to find the same servers, same amount of people waiting but my goodness the food is devine. It makes almost forget the wait. Today I bought sides (the curry chicken, jerk chicken, stew chicken, and fried chicken) to serve the family. We also got two large plates to take to friends. Everything was fabulous. If you want great food here in Moreno Valley and have patience, it’s a must try. In addition, we need to support one another any way we can within our own measures. Be blessed and try them out. They definitely won’t disappoint.
