“Easily the best steakhouse in the Palm Springs area. It's become the go-to staple for any celebratory meal. The things you can count on with Mastro's are very consistent no matter the location. You will be entering a very high-class environment with high-class people all around you. Most locations have live lounge music in the bar area and the bar area will be a complete scene... good luck getting a seat or trying to grab a drink before dinner. The food, once you get to it will be amazing... seafood, steaks and other cuts like veal chops and Lamb Chops are all amazing. The sides are completely phenomenal, same with the deserts. I've honestly never tasted anything bad at any of the locations. Oh, and the other thing that's consistent at every Mastro's... the need to bring the big boy wallet!”

“Waitress told us when we sat down that they were short staffed for the evening. Which was a good heads up! Bar side had live music and you could tell the servers were hustling! Can also be kind of loud. Our table had the burger, filet, Mac n cheese. All were really good! Got to get the max n cheese side! I died and went to heaven. 4/5 stars because it did take a while to get the food.”

“35 minutes to get a table, 10 minutes before our server greeted us and took even our drink order, 35 minutes to get our food. It's hard to judge this place on the quality of their food when the service was so poor. But...with that said...the food was amazing and completely exceeded an already high expectation. I had the Mo which was massive, I actually gave my pancakes, which are a meal in and of itself, to my son. The smokey bacon was to die for and I love their take on breakfast sausage. My wife had the Belgian Waffles, and we took a homemade Pop Tart to go (A Must). I'm still giving it a 4 star which is a testament to the quality of the meal, if the service was good this was a 6/5.”

It's not a party scene like napas but it's has a solid upbeat vibe and they often have live music. The food portions are small thing tapas and they didn't sever hard alcohol but the wine and beer lists are very good. Great spot for a drink with friends or a casual date.”

“Our concierge recommended this place for their seafood and once again it did not disappoint. Our table of 6 absolutely crushed the seafood platter of chilled delicacies and steamed mussels. The bread is nice and warm and the butter goes on smoothe. Don't get carried away with it because your entree is going to be better. They give you the option of getting a full or half order of your entree, which is nice. I went with the half order of Chilean sea bass and it was excellent. It has a coconut curry that really makes it go down quickly. By getting a half order I was able to have some room for their pineapple cake and coconut ice cream. The cake is so very nice and warm. The ice cream is such a nice cooling additive. You are upstairs so it makes for a nice romantic setting for a date. It was great to have our group of six fill our bellies and share some laughs.”

“Pasta came out quick, hot and fresh. This place is listed at two $$ and while they do have some dishes that qualify, I'd classify this as a $$$ place. Good eats here in Palm Dessert. There is valet parking as well as self parking in the back. I would skip the valet. I had a table by the window and saw the valet curb someone's wheels during our meal.”

That's fish and fries then the fish is lightly battered cod or a choice of other fish.. Its not greasy at all.. Crispy and the fish just melts in your mouth.. Fries/chips are seasoned and very tasty.. Lots of fish dishes to choose from including shell fish.. Lobster etc.. On Friday nights they have recording artist live.. International and No 1 hit singles and albums in the UK and Europe. Miss Gina Carey.. She performs popular soulful and original music.. After dinner ballads etc.. Seems like there was one waiter for the entire restaurant when we came, but the service was still quick. Maybe even a little too quick, the soup ingredients might have been precooked and then mixed. But, it still tasted good. The only reason this wasn't four stars was because it just... wasn't good. Not bad either.”
