It's clear upon entering the building that this used to be a Coco's Bakery (Shari's if you're from the PNW) and could really use a remodel. This is a prime location right off I-10 and could be something special for both travelers and locals.”

“The place where Goody’s is now was a Goody’s years ago where I use to lunch once a week. About two weeks ago my wife and I decided to go through the drive-through and try them out again. The service is amazing and the food was as good as I used to remember it. This time we decided to go inside and it has been redone better than before. Since it’s in our neighborhood this will not be the last time we’ll go there.”

We both Got the Green Hippie with vanilla protein powder to get something nutritious in him after Husband had kidney stone removal surgery yesterday and is in pain. So we hope it will help. “This was my first time here, and I was impressed. This is however definitely not your average restaurant; you cook your food at the table. If you bring children, be prepared to cook their food for them! It's also in all you can eat affair, so definitely bring your appetite with you. I have only tried the barbecue portion of the restaurant, there is also a hot pot portion of the restaurant which I'm going to try next time. Considering this restaurant is the first of its kind and has only been open for 3 weeks, the staff is remarkably well trained. I showed up to eat at 6:00 p.m. on a Thursday and by 7:00 p.m., the place was packed. Blazing King is unique in the valley, there's nothing else like it. Well you do have a bit more "work" to do than your average restaurant, would say that it's definitely worth your time to check out. Update: I've been back to this restaurant quite a few times since my original review, and it has become one of my favorite places to eat in the valley. I really enjoy the hot pot side as well, and in some ways I like it better than the barbecue side. You can get both at the same time, although your table ends up being a bit crowded.”

“I was so excited to eat here! We ordered the French toast on the rocks. It was so yummy. Unfortunately we waited a long time for the food, at least 35 minutes. I ordered the breakfast jambalaya. “All in all rating would've been higher if the Hostess would've been more welcoming and the owner that chatted with one person that was (Caucasian) would've spoken to a person of Hispanic decent. From my pov it seems to be an all Caucasian restaurant. Its a small Pop-up from Cowboy Caviar so I was unsure that I had arrived to the correct location. John the Manager was very assuring and pleasant over the phone and in person when speaking to him. A people person ( hopefully they know his worth). The Hostess was very pleasant to the clients entering as it may be due to the Ethnicity of the clients. As per the Certificate I was only allowed take out for the meals/items chosen and surprisingly I was able to use all of the Certificates which most places don't allow. Once I arrived home I unboxed everything, the portions are huge. Not what I expected all though I asked for a few changes on the items such as Sour Cream and Guacamole on the side I didn't receive that. The Fries were delicious with the green sauce and cheese spread. I didn't really feel the Green Sauce had much flavor but the Red Sauce was very much flavorful. I was told that The El Compadre burrito was no so good by my spouse, he said that the meat might have been mixed with old meat, and it had a strange flavor. Hopefully we don't get sick. I also had difficulty redeeming my Certificates online. Will I return?. No this was a once in a lifetime experience for this Foodie...”

“Do you want the best Baklava and Turkish coffee? Go to the Golden Dates Cafe. What a lovely spot and what lovely folks who run it! Usually I’m not a huge fan of Baklava but this one is different. Really featured the delicate pistachio flavor instead of an emphasis on the honey. The Turkish coffee was smooth with beautiful cardamom aromas. This will be a place I visit every time I’m in town!”

“You must check this place out. We started with the Brussel sprouts appetizer that was really good. Then my husband and I shared the burrata pesto pizza on a cauliflower crust and the Caesar Salad.
