First time here. This place had so many home made items it was difficult to decide. We had the original German pancake with lemon with a side of strawberry topping. The bacon, biscuits & gravy and omelets were simply fantastic. A definite “stop for breakfast” spot. The wait staff was very friendly & professional.
This place has a diner type feel. The breakfast was good, but not any better than any other diner. Mainly went to this place to try the German pancakes while I was in town. The German pancake did not disappoint, it was big (size of a large plate) and it was refreshing due to the lemon. I recommend the pancakes.
Cinnamon pancakes are very delicious! Prime rib sandwich was a little flavorless, but its probably why they put the dipping sauce on the side. Service was fantastic, & unlimited fries! I'd definitely recommend
Our favourite place for breakfast in Palm Springs. Plenty of parking, inside it is clean, tidy and staff are friendly welcoming. The menu has something for everyone but I had my favourite Eggs Benedict again today and it didn’t disappoint. All three of us received our drinks and food very quickly, beautifully presented and the portions, as usual, were very generous. Service was, polite, fast and efficient. We will definitely be back.
Really enjoyed breakfast at Elmer’s today. Great service and a large menu of very hearty selections. Kitchen was timely and the food was absolutely delicious. Had, for the first time anywhere, something called a German pancake which is kind of like a skillet sized crepe made with an egg batter of some sort. The classic way to eat it is with butter, lemon juice, and powdered sugar. Very good and actually not too sweet.
