The Original Las Casuelas

Five stars, even though the service was a bit cold today. It was mid-afternoon so I"ll cut them a break. Now the food - really, REALLY good! If any of you have tried Tito's for tacos (Culver City) you know they are the best. The shredded beef tacos here are as close as I've found anywhere in the U.S. We also tried chiles rellenos, and they were expertly prepared in the traditional manner. Reasonable prices as well. We did not try any adult beverages today, so can't comment, but they do have them. Nice little place with great food. I have to believe the service gets better during peak hours, but still - they should have tried just a little more.

The original restaurant is the best. Have been eating there for 40 years. Never had a bad meal or experience there!

One of the oldest restaurants in downtown Palm Sprimgs. Had a latelunch at this location. No wait. Good food. The larger locations the street is the place to go -- especially at night when they have live music and dancing!

Excellent dinner last night. Restaurant came highly recommended from multiple people at the golf course and they were right. The combination plates are piled high with food for a great value. The waitress was great along with the staff. We also got tamales to go for breakfast and the sauce was excellent.
