Woody's Palm House

My first visit and my birthday dinner it was 540 and the waitress refused to allow us to sit in dining room.We were seated outside in the sun. Waiter very friendly but horrible on service. Our order was totally screwed up! Not 1 order was right. Sliders were dry , not what made correctly,had to wait for new burgers by then we were done. Then they moved a table directly in doorway. Not the best experience!

Well now! Nice job, guys. Welcomed by our server, and everybody was attentive. We came there to hear the music, so we weren't that focused on the food. That changed! Knockout salad with strawberries and dates, dressed with a really good balsamic vinaigrette. Slider variety plate was a good idea. Had turkey, beef/ mushroom, and Portobello. All were juicy and flavorful.

Oh yes, the music. Yve Evans is a lot of fun. Listen closely to her phrasing and her sly humor!

There was a mis-understanding about seating (on OUR part!) and we were less than understanding, at first. Owner, Woody came over and visited with us and made everything A-OK! We will be regular customers!

We had a great time at Woody's. We went there on a friend's recommendation so now I'm passing this info on to you! Go there for great food and music... Jazz at that. The serving staff are the best and the atmosphere was relaxed with good acoustics so you could enjoy the live music but also be able to carry on a conversation.

We were a large group so it took more time to service and I thought it was exceptionally long waiting for our food. My dinner was cold when I got it. The music was great and the ambience. The company was great.
