Food is great! Don't be in a hurry-10 minutes became more like an hour of wait time. Maybe best to call ahead.

Really liked this place, the food was REALLY good and super reasonably priced. Only reason I give it 4 stars is they were out of brisket two days in a row... The first time we went there, we ordered the brisket with collard greens and mac & cheese (so good). I told them we were from out of town. About 10 minutes later they came back out and said they were out of brisket, but they could give us tri cut which was "similar" but definitely not as good and was actually more expensive than brisket. Okay, no big deal. The next day we decided to call ahead and see if they had brisket. They said they did. We called back that afternoon to order to go, and they said they were out of brisket, so needless to say we didn't go back that night... but I probably would come back if I were back in town.

This place may be small, and not your normal take out place, till you taste the deliciousness from this gem!!! We ordered the fried catfish and fries, fried chicken and the babyback rids..... and holy cow was it delicious!!! It’s like the south in Palm Springs!!! Best kept secret!!! Everything we ordered from the Mac and cheese, collard greens, yams and the corn bread was amazing!!! We are sad that we live far from this place!! Thank you for making our last night meal amazing!! Made 3 women very happy!!!????

On Christmas day we wanted more than good food and we found it. Better than just a good meal, we found food for the SOUL....so delicious and reminiscent of home. The staff and owner were so welcoming the experience was delightful. And just like home we even fought over the last serving of peach cobbler we took home. Great day, great place, great food for the soul.

I went there today for my first time. And the staff was so friendly. The food is wow!!! I haven't good home cooked soul food in a long time. I would definitely be coming back. I had the ribs, potato salad and baked beans. And the mac n cheese was amazing!!! So much flavor. Yes, this is a good mom and pop shop i will be supporting.
