Santorini Gyro Palm Springs

I have eaten here before. It's awesome. I wanna go again.

I stopped in to Santorini on my way to the airport to pick someone up. I was hungry and the only two options I saw were Taco Bell and McDonalds. I wasn’t hungry enough to go to either of those two places and the. I saw Santorini Greek Restaurant. I thought why not go there. I went in and the man who helped me, probably the owner was so friendly and patient while I made up my mind. I ended up ordering a Gyero with lame meat and a coke. I asked him not to put the Tadzike sauce on it because I didn’t like cucumbers and he offered to put hummus on it instead. It also came with a salad but it had cucumbers in it so I didn’t eat it. This man is a local, friendly hard working guy. His food is very fresh and tastey. He has home made deserts as well. If your in town and hungry, go there. You won’t be disappointed. I support local businesses and this is one to get behind and support.

Came in for the baklava and Turkish coffee and the pistachio baklava was delicious and coffee was good and strong. Definitely coming back and recommending this place!

I was very impressed with their gyro(hero) plate. I spend a lot of time on the road and often seek out Mediterranean/Greek food.
This is probably the best I’ve had in 10 years. Meat was well seasoned, salad had delicious dressing. Next time I’m in Palm Springs I’ll be back.

We spent our Thanksgiving 2021 at this lovely restaurant and were very satisfied! It was great service and delicious food. We had the gyros platter, vegetarian plate and Greek salad. They also provided outdoor seating, which was very important for us.
