Sol Agave - Palm Springs

Very high quality ingredient’s restaurant. The shrimp is thick and juicy and I highly recommend it as an appetizer. The crab burrito is also very tasty and full of broth flavor as you bite into it. Atmosphere is great for both a party or a nice date night.

One of the best chips and salsa appetizers I’ve ever had! The chips are so fresh and the salsa is impeccable with its spice that doesn’t burn your tongue, thereby making you want more - so that’s a win !!!
The chili verde dish didn’t disappoint and the calamari was superb but the serving was too little, half of the plate is vegetable. The food presentations were A+ and the staff were all very friendly and attentive so another A+.
At the entrance, you’ll see their tequila collection is of excellent quality and the dining areas are nicely sectioned which means you can have privacy even if the restaurant is packed.
Now why 4 stars? I would have easily given this five stars but the taco sampler (chicken, shrimp, beef and pork) didn’t hit it for one same reason - they’re all dry…so I had to put their magical salsa to make it palatable. Everyone knows that a good taco doesn’t need anything.
Still, I really enjoyed my lunch and I’ll be back to try the octopus and look forward to upgrading my review to 5 stars.

Found this place while taking a walk in Palm Springs with some friends. The strategically placed flight of margaritas caught our eye so we decided to get a table for 4. Happy hour was 2-6 pm. We had flights of margaritas and flights of mimosas. The drinks were delicious and excellently presented. The food ordered did not disappoint either. Servers were attentive and ambiance was great. I would definitely dine here again.

This place has it all. A beautiful location in downtown Palm Springs with views of the mountain and great people watching on Palm Canyon. The staff are all attentive and helpful. The food is top notch. We've eaten at Sol Agave around 6 times since it opened in Palm Springs and keep coming back. Everything we've had to eat has been delicious. They bring you incredible fresh made chips, salsa and beans when you arrive. The ceviche is our favorite and a good happy hour deal. The happy hour is great! The desserts are next level, try the flan or the butter cake - you will not be disappointed. The fresh ingredients, atmosphere, great staff and location make it the best bang for your buck restaurant option in town.

Stumbled onto this restaurant while strolling down the main drag in Palm Springs and so glad I did. Amazing happy hour specials-tasty Margaritas. Yummy chips and salsa and bean dip with chorizo and a great bar experience. Will be back again and even try the location at LA Live.
