The food is AMAZING. I was put off by parking arrangments. Free valet service was advertised, but no valet or station was available at first sitting. Had to park quite a distance as the parking lots were reserved for valet. I would go again, but later.
Enjoyed it. Nice menu. I had the Lamb 3 ways, very nice. My husband enjoyed the Prime Lamb and our friend enjoyed the Chilean sea bass.
Chocolate molten cake was good, but not really molten. But still tasty.
I had a coconut shrimp appetizer which is very nice. My husband enjoyed the Caesar salad.
First of all, before I say anything negative, let me say that the staff was very friendly and that the chef/owner even came out to visit during our meal. The first thing was that I ordered one of their happy hour "signature cocktails" which was a twist on a daiquiri served in a martini glass. It had a very weird almost musty taste. It was supposed to be lemon and lime juice, simple syrup and rum. I tried to drink it and be a good sport but I decided not to since it just tasted so odd but they were willing to replace it with something else. It should not be a featured drink or they need to check their ingredients to make sure that they are fresh.
The next item was the salad. It was so over-dressed that it was like eating spoonful's of salad dressing. My husband encountered this as well. I had the Italian sausage with polenta and it was very good but two sausages were too much for me. Some people might like the quantity. I give that dish a good grade.
So all that being said, I would not choose to go back unless I had a friend who liked it and wanted to go.
Very bright interior. Ate in the lounge which was crowded and noisy. Strangely, you have to request salt and pepper. I had buttermilk fried chicken. The skin was charred and the chicken a little dry. Staff could have been more attentive; e.g., keeping water glasses filled. My friend had a prime rib sandwich with fries. The sandwich had a small portion of meat and no ketchup was provided for the fries. Will give it another try.
A spectacular opening! The space is crisp and bright with lots of energy. The staff was very efficient and accommodating. It was so good to see Brian Ellis (General Manager) greeting guests and working the room along with Willie Rhine and Chad Gardener (the owners). We enjoyed our meals very much with each of us ordering a different entree. I started with the Wedge Salad (big and delicious) and my spouse enjoyed the Roasted Beet Salad. For entrees we had the Duck Breast, the Scallops, the Honey Roast Chicken and the Beef Short Rib. Each presentation was beautiful and all agreed everything was really special. Cocktails were generous and the vibe was dynamic. We look forward to returning frequently.
