Mezcal Cantina y Cocina

Got here during happy hour and the specials were very good. For $20 I was able to get 4 steak street tacos and two Modelo bottles. The free chips and salsa were especially tasty. The salsa had a nice sweetness to it that wasn't too sweet. As for the heat I would put it at the lower end of mild.

Bathroom was gross. It obviously doesn't get checked very often. We were the first customers of the day, but one of the toilets hadn't been flushed and I found someone's credit card. The food however was amazing. Really good salsa and yummy margaritas. We had just finished a 6 hour drive and we were quite happy. Service was good, but we were the only ones there so I don't know what it's like otherwise.

One of my fav spots for Mexican food. Everyone at our table was enjoying everything. The service here is attentive. The place has an awesome feel to it. Menu is like a cafe in Indianapolis I liked.

Happened to go on a Sunday (first time to this particular restaurant chain). Had checked the menu posted outside and decided to give it a try. Upon being seated, found out it was a brunch menu only. Nothing on it sounded appealing to me, but we couldn't order from the regular menu, this was pretty frustrating. I ordered a side of the potatoes, which were tasty, but definitely not enough of a meal. I couldn't even tell what my friend ordered because it just looked like a plate of sauce.

Been from New York and knowing what good food is all about I can say that we need a Mezcal Restaurant in 42nd street. My fiancee and I came for our Valentine's dinner and we had the best of the best. Liz was a great waiter and what can we say about the manager Wonderful. Thank guys for taking care of us. We had so much fun. We will be coming back with our NY family and friends.
