Pier 76 Fish Grill

Third time here, figured its time to leave a review.

The staff is friendly and nice. The place is clean and organized. There is plenty of seating area available, both inside and outside seating available. Nice decorations and music playing in the background.

Their food is okay. The first time I ate here, I enjoyed the food the best. Perhaps it was because it was my first time there, and tasting their food. Or perhaps it was what I ordered, but I cannot recall exactly what I ordered. The second time I went I noticed the food was a little on the dry side, and it was a small serving size. And now this third visit, I realized the food was dry and bland, and yes it was a small serving size once again as well. So the food isn't bad by any means, it's just a little on the dry side. Perhaps its overcooked, or just not juicy enough. I feel as if they could add more spices/seasonings in order to make their food better tasting, and not so bland like. The portion sizes are small for the amount of $$ you pay. But then again, healthy food is more expensive than unhealthy food, so you decide.

Not a bad place for fish, and or for a quick lunch meal. For dinner, there are places that offer better tasting food in my opinion.

I do appreciate their outdoor seating area, makes for a nice experience on a nice warm sunny day.

I do recommend this place, and I will also continue to try out their foods. Hopefully my experiences with the dryness and bland like tasting foods have been solely based on the items I've ordered...I will try and order different items on their menu.

The owner is the best.. he always comes out and visit the tables of his customers and make sure that their food tastes well and they are receiving good services. I've been going there for the last three years and although I don't know his name directly he doesn't know my name directly I noticed his effort every time I go. I'm going to miss the drunken chicken gumbo and I pray that he brings it back because that was my favorite dish their. The menu changes quite often so soon as you get used to something good it changes, not that that's always a bad thing because they always bring something new and tasty.

Bye bye drunken chicken gumbo.. I'm going to miss you..

Informal restaurant. Variety of seafood dishes. Order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. The blackened salmon that my wife added to a Ceaser salad was excellent. The fish and chips was very good. Generous portions and reasonable price. Good quality ingredients that are prepared well.

First time visit. Employees were very Friendly. Played it safe and went for the Fish & Chips was was VERY Tasty. Not sure What the Veggies were, but the looked healthy, so I ate them too, and they were Tasty as well. Plus, I saw a bunch of people in there I know, so, I shall return. lol!

I usually go to market broiler next door for seafood, but I decided to give Pier 76 a chance, even though they aren't by a Pier. (Thats just a joke). I was greeted with a warm, inviting welcome by Sydney, who had a lovely smile and unforgettably pink hair. Since it was my first time, I was very nervous, but of course she reassured me, even making a few jokes and told me she remembered her first time and offered me some of her favorite dishes. It is cogent to conclude that she represented the restaurant extremely well and I can assume that all the team members hold themselves in that like manner.
The food was great and definitely wasn't expecting to get the large portion I got but it was worth the money I paid. I asked for fish n chips expecting to get 2 pieces of goldfish sized fish but instead I got the whole ocean. Everything was delicious and a great experience. 10/10 overall thanks to Sydney for the great service and the chefs for the great food. I'm definitely bringing all my engineering and physicist friends who need the energy to create the future.
