Le Chat Noir French Restaurant

We visited Le Chat Noir during our stay at the Mission Inn and its incredible. It is very small bistro looking but, with a 5 star rating. The escargot was excellent, fish of the day is perfect and the dessert delicious. The wine list is extensive offering wines from various regions of France. They also offer wine from California, Italy, etc. The owners are gracious and you won't feel rushed while dining. Le Chat Noir is easy to find and parking is available - our walk from the Mission Inn was about 10 minutes. Make reservations in advance because they are not open every day. I will definitely return for another enjoyable dining experience. Merci

A pleasant place with a menu different from the usual "fusion" available everywhere. Attentive and charming staff. The food was good and well prepared (they did not overcook the fish, thanks be), but not knock-your-socks-off. A notable disappointment was ordering the cheese plate for dessert and--not unreasonably--expecting them all to be French cheeses. In fact they were not, nor were they very different from what you can pick up at Ralph's. However, all was well presented, and our evening was very pleasant. No hope for vegetarians/vegans.

Great place, authentic food. Not for the fast food kinda person. Generally a descent wine list and great staff. Highly recommend this restaurant if you like french food.

french food and service at this spot is great. Nice place to relax, people watch, eat good, etc. I've had nothing but enjoyable experiences here and plan to keep visiting. The place has a good atmosphere.

My preferred location for delicious French food. it was so fresh. service treated us so kindly. this place has an awesome feel to it. food is similar to a cafe in indianapolis i liked.
