The people here are so friendly. It's a small restaurant but still great at what they do. Here's a picture of their shrimp tacos, guanábana drink, and chips and salsa. I would definitely recommend this place to others as well. The best part is it's in downtown area right next to City Hall.
Cool location to meet with coworkers. The service was very welcoming and observant. This place has a great design. Kinda of like a place in Houston that I enjoyed.
As soon as I entered this family style restaurant which is more like a home a blanket of smells enveloped the floor. I ordered the chicken burrito with shallow hopes on taste, however when the curtains were drawn back and my taste buds were ignited I was whisked away on a flavorful journey which is El Bajio. Remind you this is a freaking chicken burrito which seems elementary in nature but from other restaurant experiences is far from. El Bajio certainly captures the diverse nature of Bajio and constructs a refined cuisine only obtained by those select few willing to venture past comfort levels. I will forsure be back here to try more.
Stopped in because I needed somewhere to take my lunch during jury duty and I wasn't disappointed. The pork burrito was fresh, full of flavor and not greasy at all. My weakness is chips and salsa and they let you serve unlimited of both for free if you spend over $5. I preferred the mild salsa, but I'm sure people that like heat will enjoy the hot one. The whole place had an authentic Mexican feel and reminded me of visiting family when I was younger. The vibe inside was cozy with relaxing Spanish guitar playing as I ate. Thanks for the great service and great food.
