Canyons Steak House at Soboba

Very elegant restaurant inside Soboba Casino. Service was top notch and the food was amazing. I had the Cesar salad with lobster and Mac on the side. Definitely recommend this place to anyone. Prices are on the high but I believe it's worth it.

Had a reservation at 5. Our first time here. Our server Anna was very attentive and knowledgeable about our dishes and wine we ordered. Soboba signature salad was very good, not over overdressed, very fresh ingredients And the balsamic was not over powering, you could taste each ingredient balanced nicely together. Main course was the halibut . Cooked perfectly not dry, the tortilla strips added a nice texture change to the dish. My only suggestion to the chef is go easy on the amount of polenta and perhaps season it . Also tried the lobster , not over cooked, plated beautifully. Side dish of maple glazed Brussel sprouts were also delicious. For dessert we had creme brûlée and the butter cake. Highly highly recommend the butter cake. Texture and flavor was on point. Creme brûlée was more like flan, taste was there but lacking that nice crack of sugar on top. Over all everything was plated beautiful and tasted amazing. One thing disappointing which is why no 5 star, is we had $100 food credit for sure , it appears the whole casino last night the server was down and we were not able to use our food credit , we were told we had $175 and then told no it was for next month. However , I have the flier mailed home clearly says use before November . We will have to return and speak to management in regards to that. But as far as restaurant staff and food that was all in point . We will be back!
