I was a little disappointed when I first arrived I stood there for some time before anyone helped me. They started checking out customers and people that were there after me until another customer noticed that I had been there for a while and told them. Once I was seated however the staff was very courteous and apologetic for not noticing me. The food was delicious. I was very pleasantly surprised to see a vegetarian option on the menu (Veggie tacos) which were enjoyable. Overall good experience, was bummed to hear however that they will be closing. So if you haven't been,go give them a try SOON!
I wasn't very impressed with the food. The loaded tater tots were the opposite of loaded and the salad bar was in very poor shape with a lot of missing ingredients. The cost wasn't too bad. The service was absolutely fantastic and the food was at the table very quickly. The fresh strawberry pie was worth the trip in itself.
Always delicious. Located near the freeway so it's easy to find. The entrance to the parking lot is a little strange, tho. Drive entry is shared with the residence next door so it feels like a sneaky entrance. The outdoor patio would be great in temperate weather, I am sure. The water feature next door makes a nice view.
It's one of the last of a dying breed of restaurant in the area. Tables were open, service was good, and my hamburger was perfectly enjoyable. Yeah, it's not farm to table, organic and seasonal, so just appreciate it for what it is. Maybe it's just comfort food from a bygone era (though they are trying to keep it contemporary), and I don't expect to go back any time soon, but it was worth the trip.
