Masculine atmosphere. Large portions of layered meats and fixings on a bun - creative but heavy on stomach. Cool options on meats - alligator, bison, venison, etc. Good service.

It was great here. The waiter was nice and made sure we had everything we needed. He had a no can attitude. They serve awesome meat too. I ordered a wagyu burger that was gator style and had little bits of gator fried. Tastes like chicken!

Finally made it over to Flaming Grill to try an exotic meat burger. I tried the Camel meat-nice finely ground patty with very mild flavor. The smokehouse BBQ style really made it hard to tell it wasn't beef. The Blue Cheese Bacon fires were excellent, but you pay a hefty upcharge. Calamari was only average. Overall a very good meal and we'll come back to try something else exotic.

Love this place, even if it wasn't for the exotic meats it's still a great sports bar. We first visited at their converted drive-in location where you sat on park benches in the parking lot. The Elk Grove location is much nicer. Everything we have ordered has been excellent. The alligator bites are cooked perfect. The meats are cooked exactly the way you order. The beer selection is large and varied. Try the Ruthstaller it's smooth with good flavor. Disclaimer: we went to high school with the brew master. My grandson had the grilled cheese, which was amazing. It had mozzarella sticks and cheddar slices grilled in it and must have been two inches thick.

Best of the three locations, as it maintains the vibe of the original store. Has been constant with good service and food. They feature a wide variety of meats other than beef, many of which are also available for sandwich orders. Good selection of appetizers (try the gator bites), always a wide selection of great craft beer's and the usual soda selection. The burgers are BIG, and come with a decent amount of fries. There is also a good variety of sandwich and salad selections, and you're not limited to just fries for your side dishes. Good place to have a good time and dining experience. If you're adventurous and looking for variety in a burger, this is the place ! Closed on Sundays.
