Cheese Steak Restaurant (Elk Grove)

I was pleasantly surprised by the cheese steak sandwiches here. Meat, peppers, and onion filling was really flavorful. My wife got the cheese steak with spinach and mushrooms and really liked that as well. We got a large waffle fries to split; they were also really good, but the portion size for a large waffle fries seemed a little small. Additionally, I saw guys at another table with fries covered in cheese steak filling which looked fantastic. I'll be back for that. Lastly, they also have burgers, corn dogs, and some other sandwich options if you don't want a cheese steak.

Great atmosphere, clean restroom, enough parking, and most of all great food. Will be back to try others items on the menu. I was impressed.

Reasonably priced and very beefy flavored sandwiches. I'd advise getting both the grilled onions and the peppers for a moister sandwich. I prefer the hot cherry peppers. My spousal unit prefers the sweet bell peppers.
Decent sweet potatoes fries. Awesome fried mushrooms. Awesome onion rings.
We've been here half a dozen times. They have menu items other than Philly cheese steaks, but we keep coming back for the classic...

Like most of the other reviews. I agree the amount of meat in the sandwich is lacking. But it was delicious and I'll be back. Just might have to pay a little extra for extra meat. Oh and the staff were super friendly so that helps a little.
