Applause to our server/cashier Jemirah is a hard worker and did great even though she worked alone in the front. I ordered the breakfast Meat Lovers Sampler. I could not finish, so plenty of left over. The reason why I knocked out 1 star is because the steak strips are tough to chew. Overall, great southern style soul food.”

“Pretty good place. I ordered the poke bowl with a combination of salmon and tuna. The fish was marinated in a soy teriyaki glaze which was tasty and there were a lot of different fresh ingredients to accompany the fish and rice. I appreciated the vegetables because I didn’t really want to eat all the rice so having that was a plus. It was tasty, fresh, and satisfying. I would say this over the Taco Bell next door any day.”

“Since finding out about this place, we've been coming about once a week. Everything we've had is excellent. Growing up in South Sac, I definitely have had my share of good Mexican food and I was soooo glad to find this place so close to where I now live. If you're looking for the truck it's, parked near the end of the court closer to the Extended Stay hotel. There is seating in the shade if you can't wait to get home to eat. Google says closed on Saturdays, but they are occasionally open and post to their social media accounts on Fridays if thry plan to be open on Saturdays. Enjoy!”

“Normally I stay away from opening day, but not this time. We missed their Crizp Chicken and Classic Chicken over rice so much! For background information, we have been regular customers at the Freeport location, but it has been temporarily closed for renovation due to a fire in the kitchen last year. So, it's been a minute! The food is just as fantastic as we remembered. It was worth the 50 min wait. I got there at 11am. The Crizp Chicken is nicely battered and lightly deep fried. I just can't get enough of the fragrant jasmine rice! It goes with everything! The Classic Chicken is a healthier option compared to Crizp. The soybean garlic sauce is delicious and will elevate any lean chicken breast. For grand opening, a complimentary Thai tea with each entrée. Highly recommend. Let's give them a warm welcome to the neighborhood.”

“You’ve found it! Your next favorite taco spot is right here so look no further. The small size but surprisingly modern decor of this establishment is a home run. The simplicity of the menu is reminiscent of In-N-Out. They can focus on a few menu items and insure consistency of flavor. Let’s be honest, the only thing that is of value is consistency of flavor. The only reason there is no fifth star is that I reserve those for places that are other worldly type. I wish I could give half stars because this taco spot is almost out of this world. Enjoy!!”

“I was actually scrolling through Door Dash when I saw this place, but since I was headed down Elk Grove Blvd anyway I decided to visit in person. First of all, the decor and the vibe is 10/10. Super cute (just as cute as in the pictures!). Second, I didn’t try the pastries but I’m now regretting that because they looked INSANELY good! I got a cajeta latte and the avocado toast. (I had to ask what cajeta was too, so if you don’t know, you’re not alone - it’s like a caramelized milk.) The latte was awesome! Not too sweet; just the right amount of sweetness to balance what would normally be the bitterness of espresso. The avocado toast also 10/10. I wasn’t sure if I would like the sprouts or chiles but I definitely did! The chiles do have a nice kick, so leave them be if you aren’t into that sort of thing. The only thing that wasn’t total perfection were the potatoes. Don’t get me wrong - I ate them and I liked them, but they were ever so slightly underdone. Def not a deal breaker. Finally, the staff was incredibly sweet and accommodating. I will 100% be back!”
