Beautiful setting overlooking the river. But the ambiance is old and tired, the service for Easter Brunch was less than stellar, and when I asked about toast or English muffins to go with our salmon and eggs, I was told it didn't come with toast and no, I couldn't get any. I'm still scratching my head over it...

Would have never thought to go here on my own, but a friend had a birthday party here and let me just tell you, this is a great place. The drinks were well made, the bartenders were nice and attentive, also the whole place was really clean, including the bathrooms! On Saturdays, which is the day I went, they had a DJ later in the night and lots of people were dancing and if you go during the week the bar area is very relaxing. Very versatile bar with pretty good food as well.

Beautiful views, Staff was attentive but not overbearing. Food was wonderful. Prices are higher then you'd find at a comparable restaurant but the views make up for it if your into good ambiance. I'd recommend trying it out at least once and you might as well go in the late afternoon and watch the sunset over the American River.

Did a surprise birthday brunch for my 17 year old brother. It was such a lovely experience. Our waiter was the BEST ever. Food was delicious, prices very fair, staff helpful and the view was fabulous. We ended up making a mess with the cake that was meant to be on the birthday boys face but our waiter was so kind about it and helped us clean it and even wanted to do it himself. Will definitely be back but next time without so much craziness. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Delicious food and beautiful setting. We had a window table with a view of the American River. I had the New York strip with garlic mashed potatoes. The steak was perfectly cooked with a sear that was so tasty. Paired with the potatoes, it was delectable! My husband had the salmon and rice. He can have high expectations and this meal did not disappoint. His fish was perfectly cooked and he loved the white wine sauce it came with. He does not usually like olives and capers, but he ate these up and raved about them. We will be going back!
