Aappakadai - Folsom

One of the places I have been eagerly awaiting to open and it did not disappoint. The food is amazing. Their quality from bay area is maintained here as well. I have eaten here twice within their first week of soft opening. The ambur mutton briyani made seeraga samba rice is so good. Another dish that made me so happy was their kothu parotta. It has been executed to perfection. I felt like eating back in tamil Nadu. The food is little bit on the spicier side. If not fan of spicy food, try options like aapam here. It is good to eat aapam hot and tastes better in the restaurant than in take out. Will keep coming again

Newly opened restaurant. We went on a Friday evening and ordered chicken 65, paratha chicken and goat Curry. Chicken 65 was freshly cooked, nice and tender, but bland. Parotta was good and big size and crisp and fluffy. Curry is again bland and missing spices.

In the ambience, the lights were pretty bright.
Service was great.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food! I had the pleasure of trying their Parotta with Veg Khorma, and I can confidently say that it took me straight to food heaven. The Parotta was everything you would want it to be—fresh, hot, flaky, and absolutely delicious. Each bite was a delightful experience, and the texture was simply perfect.

The accompanying Veg Khorma was a symphony of flavors that reflected the mastery of their skilled cook. The seasoning was spot on, reminiscent of a home-cooked meal, and the spices were balanced impeccably.
