Atmosphere was good, server nice but slow, took way to long to get service. Food was average for the price. Understanding inflation but prices are Ridiculous high $7.00 for a piece of corn and $ 32.00 for a over cooked Teriyaki burger and 1 beer.
Great new bar and live music setup in this neighborhood. Food is good, drinks are legit and staff are friendly. Michelada flight, eyyyyy.
Brand new location, they say they've been open for a month and a half. I had a great experience, it's a nice space. The Loco Moco burrito that I had is not on their menu. It just happened to be National Burrito Day. But the burrito was very delicious. On top of that, the drink was a spiced rum drink, strong but good. I would like to return and try more items on their menu. I did peek over at other tables and talked to other patrons, and they said they enjoyed their meals as well. I would like to go back and try more drinks for sure.
Saw a video about this new location online, and decided to give it a shot. Take this with a grain of salt as it’s a new location - and they’ll likely get most of the issues fixed soon. We may be back soon if it appears like stuff gets changed!
Beginning with the service which was a 5/5, we had a gal with freckles take care of us. She was the host, server, bartender, and busser it appears. Super helpful and answered our questions with honest, personable responses. Might be worthwhile to have devoted positions rather than one person doing everything, however if it works for them that’s great.
Decorations were Hawaii themed, and a few neon signs. Very unique - we enjoyed for ambiance for the most part.
Island time (did no coconut rum, all white rum) 5/5
Painkiller (not on menu) 5/5
Candy pop shooter (tastes artificial) 3/5
Island spiced margarita 3/5
Ran out of poke for poke nachos :(
Street corn 4/5
Taco flight -
Quesa birria 2.5/5 (flavorless)
Island chicken 2.5/5 (too salty)
Fish n chips 2/5 (fish smelled very fishy, dripping in oil, very little crunch)
Luau plater 3.5/5 (rice was dry)
