El Zarape Taqueria

Best Mexican restaurant in Rancho Cordova, hands down! I work in Rancho so I would know. Their salsa is flavorful, and has the right amount of spice while their food is authentic and very good. My favorite is their chile verde, and they have a full bar so you can choose from a margarita, pina colada, cold beer on draft, or all three. Lastly, the owners are super nice while delivering hot, fresh food in a short amount of time to get back to work with time to spare. I love this place if you couldn't tell! LOL

For now it's getting 3 stars. I'll go back and revise the review based on my next visit. The biggest reason for 3 stars is the salsa. There's no spice to any of the salsas, even the spiciest is extremely mild. Second, the salsas all lack flavor, it's like dipping a chip in water. Additionally, everything is low on salt. Lastly, as a matter of personal choice, I'm not a fan of oregano in Salsa Mexicana, and they use it in the second to spiciest salsa. The food itself was good and I plan on going back to try something else. Stay tuned.
