Papa John's Pizza

Wife & I traveled around Sac looking for a store as we do not have one where we live. All we wanted was their philly cheese steak pie. We ate it in the car all the way home. It was really good, but had a distinct taste. Like vinegar. Both of us tasted it. Perhaps the marinated meat or the cheese.

One of the better Papa Johns location in the Sacramento area. They take online orders until 30 mins before closing. They still offer the awesome double cheeseburger pizza at $11. Staff is friendly and parking is ample. Pizzas are usually ready in 15 mins from order and are fresh.

It was cool, they are good with customer service and I was running late to pick up my pizzas and they actually called me to see if I was still going to come and get it, which I thought was thoughtful and they gave me lots of paper plates and napkins which was nice and were very polite but the white sauce that I ordered on the pizza (I only eat white sauce) It was kind of a strange flavor in a bit too salty I didn't really like it it was like white sauce /ranch sauce and normally It is the white garlic sauce. So that was the only bummer but other than that they are okay their cheese sticks are really good.

I was with my friends in my friends car. We ordered the pizza 22 minutes before we traveled to the delivery store. When we got there the pizza was ready and fresh. The tables outside were clean. I would do this again with my friends at this location.

Their pizzas tend to be bland and toppings skimpy. The only reason. I order from them at all is because they are less than a mile away and once in my comfy clothes I don't want to drive to papa Murphy's and walk inside. In the specific time that you are asking about, I never placed an order because their app wasn't acting properly on my phone so I gave up. Someone said 'I don't know how accurate the reviews are.' The 2-3 star reviews are spot on. Bland, just ok. Wouldn't give them 1 star tho. Other places have better pizza but for the deals you can get here, you get what you pay for. Pick it up yourself to avoid tip and delivery fee and it's OK for the price.
