⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The experience we had here was incredible. No wonder its ranked one of the top restaurants in the nation!! ????????????????We were immediately welcomed by an extremely warm gentleman who was happy to see us. We were told our wait would be 20-30 min but only ended up waiting about 7 minutes. My husband and I ordered the pear French toast and the Biscuit sandwich. They didn’t have a kids menu but it was easy for us to order a side of eggs and pancakes for my son. Our meals were so delicious. ????I’m glad we ordered both a savory and sweet meal to share - it balanced everything out perfectly.
Interesting place. Appears to be quite popular locally. Emphasis on farm to fork results in different, and quite charming and tasty, unusual versions on the expected menu items. Thoughtful service adds to an unpretensiously upscale brunch place.
Line started before the place even opened! Still got a seat without a wait and definitely noted the quality of the food right away. Compared to any other breakfast joint, this place keeps the food fresh and healthy (to an extent of course). Decor was clean and service was fast. Be prepared to order sides since some plates are small.
Service was Great, food was fresh and hot when served. About a 30 minute wait after we arrived@ 8:35am this Sunday morning. We were a party of 3. Seating isn't super comfortable but it's practical and in good repair. Restaurant has lots of natural light, clean, functional, with an organic decor. Moderate price, good, but not great, coffee. Family friendly, street parking.
I have been a big fan of Bacon and Butter since they opened in Tahoe Park so I was excited to visit the one in East Sac. I visited this morning right at 7:00 a.m. and we were the first folks in the door. The space is gorgeous -- really beautiful wood benches and lots of light. But I think there are still a few bugs to work out. . . Despite being the first and only customers there, it took more than 10 minutes for someone to come to our table, despite the fact that I counted at least 5 people walking around on the floor. . . Then, it took another 15 minutes to get our food served and that only happened after I asked our server about it --- apparently crispy potatoes were the reason for the delay. That never happened at B&B on Broadway. . . The omelet we got -- spinach and mushrooms -- only had about five pieces of spinach and the crispy shallots on top tasted like onion rings from a can. . . i do have to say that the potatoes were crispy and awesome. We also had a pancake and although it was tasty, I'm not sure why restaurants insist on making them so thick -- it was a slab of batter, not a pancake. . . all in all, an okay meal, and I hope things smooth out and getter better with time. In the meantime, ditch the canned onion rings and slim down the pancake. . .
