Great experience today. This little, and I mean little, place gives true meaning to "hole-in-the-wall". If you didn't know it's there you'd probably miss it. But as most hole-in-the-wall places, the food out does itself. I went with 3 friends and my little dog (great outside seating). We all ordered burgers, fries and soda (and one also got chili). My friend said she had the chili before and it was a little salty, so she said she'd give it a second try. Oh man was she glad she did, it was delicious. She ate every drop. As for the burgers, well, I can speak for mine ... it was cooked absolutely perfect! I had a few minor changes (no mustard, extra cheese, etc.) and it was no problem at all. Everything was as ordered. I can't tell you about the fries because I was so full from the burger that I couldn't eat another bite. The staff was great, very friendly. I had a brief conversation with the very young looking owner (I say that as a compliment) and discovered that her sister was the chef and the place is family owned. Great place to grab a delicious burger and maybe a nice seat outside and enjoy a great little greasy spoon diner that has it's roots deep in Sacramento. Will definitely go again. ❤️

Historic cool vibe. Kind of a small space if the weather is not comfortable outside. Went here during a some what large convention in Sacramento. They were short staffed and down one person. The staff worked hard but just could not keep up. Took almost 45 to 50 minutes to get my food. A lot of mad locals that did not get there food in time for their 30 minute lunch break. Really bad planning on the management of this place. Staff hustled but where were you? Burger was around $10 and just in par with In and Out.

Great place for a hole in the wall place. Very nice staff of 2. Very limited bar and bar stool seats only, most are very worn out. Maybe 12 seats inside. You get to know your elbow neighbor at this place. No inside tables. Outdoor bench tables should be nice in the summer. Good food and coffee. Lots of 1930s memorabilia... in fact probably everything there might have been from the 1930s... Get to watch your food cooking on a small grill. Takes a while to get your food because of the small stove but worth the wait. Had breakfast... lunch was starting up, could smell a lot of garlic being added. Looked like milkshakes might be a specialty.
I definitely would go back and have breakfast.
