We had an event at Urban Roots last weekend in the barrel room. It was perfect! The food was delicious and we had the large pretzels cut into bite size pieces on the tables - they were SO good. The beer was amazing as always. The service was on point - they were there anytime we needed anything, but not in our faces. They let us stay in the room later than originally planned and we really just had a wonderful event. I cannot recommend highly enough.
Great atmosphere, phenomenal food and wonderful staff. The food is absolutely mouth watering delicious. While it feels a little pricey, most barbecue places are because of the complexity in making the food. You can select a main entree that comes with a side and bread, or they also have a number of different menu options to mix and match from. The dry St. Louis ribs are fantastic and they probably have the best french fries in all of Sacramento. Haven't found anything on their menu I haven't enjoyed. They offer their own brewed beer along with some wine and cider options for those who want something different. The staff here round out the whole experience and have been such a delight to talk to every visit.
We shared a "mix-master," great variety of tasty BBQ! My favorite was the brisket, with the ribs in close second. It was a nice evening, so we sat outside. The atmosphere was pleasant, not too loud, good mix of old school hip-hop music in the background.
The food here is delicious. Great BBQ spot in town. All the meat was tender and well seasoned. Sauces were phenomenal. Sides were also very tasty. Lots of beer to choose from. Great variety to choose from; no bad choice. Very busy place; good for families or for date night. Lots of parking in a quieter part of midtown.
Great brewery in midtown Sacramento with a BBQ style kitchen. There is always a new and good selection of beers on tap. Also the food is great! It is kid friendly. There is both indoor and outdoor seating depending on what kind of mood you’re in. They also have a room where they show kings games, movies, etc depending on the day.
