Lovely dishes
I really liked my jollof rice and I got the goat on their suggestion. I personally would try the goat again. Never having goat before I didn't really know what to expect. The ghost I had was most comparable to pot roast in consistentency but had a lot of flavor. The fried plantains were also really good. I really enjoyed my meal and the service sad excellent. They answered all my questions and the food is from West Africa. It's not cheap but the give good sized portions
The experience was okay for the first time. African food is still new for me so I don’t know what to expect. I had jollof rice and goat. The goat was flavorful but a little on the chewy side.
The restaurant is a straight forward no frills type vibe there are ample tables along with a side room where a private event could be held if the establishment allows for such an arrangement. The cost was high with tip the bill of one was over $20.00. I’ve been called a cheap scape before (transparency) but is this a fair price- the jury is still out for me on that one.
Bottom line:
I’d eat here again!
The fufu with egusi soup was absolutely delicious. So was the jollaf rice.
