Very nice African themed menu. Friendly and articulate staff. Good live music too.
Unusual, traditional (to my knowledge) West African dishes. Some excellent flavors - the black beans and yams were excellent, but goat was dry and chewy. Beverage choices were unusual and a little hard to navigate. Would like to try other items before I decide whether to add it to regular restaurants.
I went here after looking for some restaurants that serve African food, and I was not disappointed! The exterior of the building hides a some great food! I was a bit worried that I wouldn't have a lot of options since I'm vegan, but the server was very helpful to make sure that I knew everything I needed to know about their food. And for other vegans out there, there is plenty of options available, you just have to ask. I would definitely come here again if I was in the area looking for a filling and delicious meal! ????
Just had the best jollof rice pounded yam and goat. Nice waiter and great service. Will be back!
I got the most spicy soup of my life and it was INVIGORATING! I thought I might be getting sick, but now I'm definitely not going to be ill anytime soon. Their staff was very sweet and accommodating to my partner's vegetarian needs, but the menu itself seemed to be all meat.
I saw they had a PA and drumsets set up in the corner, I'll bet they have rad parties here. I'd love to come by for one one evening(:
