Anthony's Italian Cuisine

Good but somehow average at the same time. I had a few friends tell how good Anthony's is so decided to pop by for a visit at lunch. I was greeted fairly quickly and sat down then offered a drink. Along with my glass of water they brought garlic bread. I appreciate that as a good piece of garlic bread is one of my favorite things. This however would lead to my only complaint and the reason for a 1 star deduction. The garlic bread was blah. Almost no garlic and over toasted to the point of almost dryness. After looking at the decent sized menu I went with the lasagne. Now I will say that while standard restaurant fair the lasagne was pretty good. It was nice and hot with a good tomato based sauce and over flowing with cheese and meat. I would definitely order it again. I am going back soon to try other dishes but so far would give them my recommendation.

Lovely place. Small family owned, super friendly people. Honest food at a good price. I was stationed in sacramento for a week and went there 3 times. I could have gone every day. Highly recommended.

Love my Anthony's!!! 4 of us from DCA have been going several times a year for awhile no. No matter how long its been their long-time waitress never fails to recognize all of us & at least 2 of us she knows what they order!!! And also knows what we drink, it is great!!!! My go to place!!! ????

First visit to this restaurant and it wont be my last. Delicious pasta and great service! Haven't had a real pasta dish in a while and this place delivered! Will be returning soon!

This little Italian Restaurant hits it out of the park. Hands down the best authentic dishes. I've had almost everything on the menu. But Veal Anthony is my favorite. Dinner starts at 5 pm. The place fills up quick. We got there around 5:20 pm this evening. By 6 pm it was full. 10 tables. They also offer carry out. Try this place out.
