Back Door Lounge

This is the perfect place, if you're looking for a secluded, hole in the wall bar. The lighting is dark and there are plenty of booths to get cozy in. For $10, you can buy a strong mixed drink. If you're looking for privacy, I would recommend upstairs to the far left corner booth. The Back Door Lounge is missing something to set it apart from the other dive bars in Old Sacramento.

Very good atmosphere it was fun

Had the coldest beer in Sacramento here.. great atmosphere. Bartender was a hoot!

Out on our first date in years we wanted to stop and get a bite to eat in old sac before starting the scavenger hunt we signed up for. We were on our way to fanny anns wishing it were somewhere new to eat when we saw the BACK DOOR..We were instantly sold based on the prices posted on the door. Walking in it seemed dark because we were just out in the sun but it quickly became easier to see and we loved what we saw. We were fortunate enough to be there on a day that their cook was a talented chef.. Eric,the chef, came out to us and personalized our order to what we were in the mood for instead of ordering what we saw on the menu. The food being amazing Paired with the feeling of being in your parents kitchen on Sunday morning made us feel at home! we could taste the love in every bite! The bar tender on the other hand was sure to make us feel just as welcome. He constantly checked in on us and made sure we were satisfied. Great customer service all around. If you are interested in treating yourself to a fantastic experience, you should head on down to the Back Door in old sac this weekend as it's Eric's last weekend cooking for them! We'll be bringing the kids for his "out of this world French toast"

Love this place! Old lounge with good, simple breakfast and at a good price. The staff is awesome and the drinks are good. Very relaxing environment
