Food was very good. Gumbo and key lime pie were both definitely worth trying. Sangria was just ok. Entrees came out just a bit before we were ready for them. Portions were generous. Would be back soon if I lived here.

Great European-style atmosphere and ambiance. Great for taking a date, your spouse and I believe they are reasonably priced for the fantastic food they serve. I took my wife on her birthday a month ago, with our kids (16 and 11). They all loved this place. The Little Door has GREAT deserts and special tea. I will definitely revisit this place over and over.

On a trip to visit a friend for a few days and she wanted to go have a nice birthday lunch. So amazing here! She had the pork entree which is a huge portion for a fabulous price. If you enjoy sangria, give it a try. It was a little fruity and all in all delightful. The sea scallops were so delicious. Melt in your mouth with a tasty lemony sauce. Also came with rice and beans and an amazing avocado tomato salad, of which I could have eaten an entire plate. Dessert was an delightful slice of key lime pie, which we devoured. I highly recommend Celestins if you are looking for a delicious meal in Sacramento.

    Good:
Wonderful service, so friendly. Even the owner said hi to us!
The food was glorious bagette with butter, cornbread with black beans, and gumbo galore!!! This gumbo this what made us curious to stop by here in the first place.
So much fun, every spoonful was a different flavor and texture, all the meat was so tender and just cooked perfectly. The broth was a symphony of flavors, blended and supported the heartyness of the seafood.
Then dessert! Key Lime Pie, again so balanced. So tart and so sweet so completely worth it!
The space was very neat, and clean and the bathroom had fresh flowers ????

    Bad:
Parking, parking was awful. The restaurant it's self is a little more cozy than most, like lots of tables in a small area. But they make it work! They will care good care of you! ????
