Dalla Nonna Elena

This place is fantastic. I ordered takeout from Doordash and upon seeing the doordasher "shake up" my order, the owner personally called me to make sure everything was fine. Great customer connection, very friendly guy. And luckily, the food made it to me in one piece, still beautifully intact. Can't wait to experience this place in person.
Update: I went back to enjoy their beautifully made Pici alla Bolognese along with the Caprese with Burrata. Such quality ingredients! When I got home I just had to plate it nicely on my own dishes. Their food deserves to be eaten with actual dinnerware.

So happy to stumble upon Dalla Nonna Elena! We were in the mood for Italian and our taste buds were delighted. First off, they are take out only but the food was still hot and delicious after a drive from Sacramento to Roseville. We ordered Chicken Marsala and Chicken Parmagiana. The portion sizes were terrific for the price and the flavors were everything and more. I had grilled zucchini as my side and they were thinly sliced, griled, and drizzled with olive oil and garlic. So tasty! Definitely plan to order again.

We just tried it tonight, and everything came out amazingly! Unfortunately, we were so excited to eat all of it, we forgot to get pictures. But trust me, all of the food came out incredibly. The Picitoscani bolognese was a perfectly cooked/sized noodle coated in a delicous sauce. The chicken marsala was flavorful (also in a wonderful sauce), and was paired with lovely smashed potatoes. My favorite dish, the Ravioli Salsiccia was flavored/wrapped perfectly- so much so that I will definitely need to try the Ravioli Da Mare next time I get this! Definitely give it a shot if you want good Italian food!

The food was like nothing I've ever had before, delicious, savory, unique, and affordable. I was really pleased with everything that I ordered, we started with the Antipasto Toscano, and was superbly served, cured Parmesan Ham , Tuscan salami , Bresaola over Grana Padano cheese and Burrata , then for main we ordered Fettuccine Frutti di Mare which was undoubtedly fresh house-made, soft and tender texture without losing the “al dente” factor, the sauce was simply scrumptious a perfect combination of baby scallops, calamari and shrimp with chunks of fresh salmon, my wife opted for Salmon, and she was thrilled about it, fresh king salmon ora for sure , pan seared, prepared over a juicy sauce with cappers, garlic, citrus and sundries tomatoes Italy’s very own!!!. Overall, it was a great experience and from now on this is our favorite Italian restaurant . Highly recommended!

We have ordered dinners from Dalla Nonna Elena 4 or 5 times and have never been disappointed. Highest quality ingredients and everything handmade and authentic. This is NOT some chain restaurant. If you're missing your Italian vacation this year, this may hold you over until you go again! Be sure to try the burrata, different pastas, eggplant parmesan, chicken marsala or piccata...AND some tiramisu! Our favorites!!
