Quite crowded on Saturday lunch, Self-service style (order and pay upfront then pick up your own food at the counter). I didn't like to have to self-serve hot soup or hot sizzling iron pan food in a crowded place where the bus person was just pushing the cart around you. They should have at least bring the food out to customers table for dine-in. This time, the service wasn't worth 10% tip. Good food, most dishes tend to have a sweet taste but delicious as well. Recommend the sizzling plate ribeye steak.
Order and get your food when your number is called. The crispy chicken was good. I got the pork belly ban mi and the passion fruit/ dragon fruit drink which was too sweet for my taste (tasted like candy water). The ban mi bread was fresh and overall good. Will likely come back to try other things on the menu.
We ordered 3 items and a coffee to share. We also ordered a pork rice plate to go for my grandma. 7/10 for the rib eye sizzling plate. I like Saigon Oi's a little better because this one was on the sweeter side. But the toasted bread thing was my fave 9/10. Nostalgia hit with the carpet jerky on the toast. The wings were 7/10. A little on the salty side. They're the same wings that people sell on some of those food trucks. 8/10 for the egg puff coffee.
The bathroom, 10/10. Nice and clean. Strong flushing toilet. Perfect size, not too tall and not too short, my feet plants right on the floor. Will definitely come back because of this.
I really enjoy eating here. My team and I came here for lunch and each of us ordered one item on the menu to try together. All of us were very pleasantly surprised that everything was well seasoned and quite good.
Com Chay Kho Quet was good. It was not too burnt and you can smell the kho quet. However, we were expecting for boiled vegetables with the kho quet but none the less it was still good.
I think the Hu Tieu Kho was a little to sweet but overall it was good too.
If you’ve never tried this place you have to give it T a try. Everything was very delicious.
You do have to pay first before they bring you the food.
I love that the bo ne came with a little side salad to balance out the saltiness. What I love more than the food was the coconut coffee. I can't get enough of it! The balance between the coconut, condense milk and the intense coffee is just perfect! I can't wait to come back and try the other items on the menu as well as the drinks!
