    Excellent Vietnamese Cuisine. Chao Bay serves up authentic food from the northern and central Region. Very unique twist of flavor that is hard to find. Don't forget to order up the house specialty Bun Dau Man Tom serving for 2+. Very tasty and filling at an affordable price.

    After telling my friend I was missing "real" Vietnamese food after only a couple weeks of being back after a trip to Saigon, my friend recommended this place. I am so glad he did! Lots of dishes you don't see at other Vietnamese restaurants in Sacramento. Look at the back page of the menu for the more exotic stuff!

    Staff was great, food was yummy. Also tried a few other things but I forgot to take pictures. Their pho broth was more flavorful than other places, a strong cinnamon/star anise flavor. Rice plates were simple but I liked the addition of a fried egg at no extra cost. Give them a try!
