This dumpling house is the one your looking for. Dumplings made by hand and filled with filling... Non of that doughy Dumpling. They are well steamed and very delicious, also had pot stickers that where just as good. The surprise for me was the Genral Chicken, the chicken had great flavor, crispy exterior, and moist juicy interior. This is some of the best mad General chicken I have had in a while. House and chili sauce only enhance the experience. Stop by and get your fill, I promise it's money well spent.
Best potstickers I’ve had in a long time. Perfect crunch without being charred or dried out on the inside. Loved walking around midtown to find this amazing restaurant.
YUM! YUM! YUM! The General chicken was CRISSSSSPPPPYYYY. I’m always reluctant to order chicken from restaurants because most of the time they come out soggy, but this chicken was CRUNCHY! ❤️ Everything else was really good too, but I recommend the general chicken the most!
Dumpling House on J Street Sacramento, was a very enjoyable restaurant. In fact, you probably won't find better dumplings unless you go to dumpling restaurants in San Francisco.
Not a lot of tables, parking was down a side street, but it was all worth it. We were going for a dumpling coma and accomplished that. We tried pork and vegetable, chicken and corn, shrimp and chicken, only vegetable, sticky rice and sesame balls.
You order at the counter and they bring the food to the table. Yes, it was spartan decoration to the place, but so what. This was a real dumpling place. Yummo.
Watched them make the dumplings by hand with the help of a machine that grinds up the ingredients and loads them into the noodle wrapper. See my photos. Amazing.
