I eat at The Melt in Folsom often
and was skeptical eating it from Local Kitchens, but it was actually pretty good. It was made to order and came out just as it would from the actual restaurant. I like how simple Local Kitchens seating area is. It was clean minus the flies. The employees do not engage but for the type of restaurant it is it makes sense. I would just say that the staff should at least be professional when customers are present. Great job prepping the food. I hope it always comes out good.
The pizzas were great! Best eaten right out of the oven. Thai Tea with Boba pearls was quite disappointing. It was diluted because of too much ice. The pearls were clumped together, therefore, not very inviting.
Will come back to try other items on the menu, but I will get my Boba somewhere else.
I had the chicken burrito from Nopalito. Very good! Chicken was juicy, gauc was fresh, I also loved the slaw. I'm usually not a lettuce in burritos guy but this isn't really that. The slaw adds a nice crunch and the citrus works well. I like salsa on every bite and the ramekin was enough to do that. The red salsa is good, some kick but nothing crazy. We also had the Mush o Roni. It tasted as good as it looked. Right amount of sauce, tons of pepperoni, mushroom was good. The crispy edges are fire. It's big too. I had the burrito and a piece of pizza and I was super stuffed. 2 friends ate the other 3 slices.
