Octopus Baja

Service was exceptional and attentive. Bartender was friendly and polite. Food was presented well and great combination of flavors, healthy, and delicious!! Chef does exceptional creations!! Highly recommend & looking forward to coming back with friends. The atmosphere is very welcoming and peaceful. Great surprise to come across this restaurant as I was staying at a hotel nearby.

Tonight we tried dining at Octopus Baja for the first time. The interior decor is amazing - open and airy, lots of natural light and beautiful light fixtures and table chairs.
We ordered the Caesar salad off the regular menu and the conceptualized tacos from the happy hour menu - which extends from 3:00-6:00. The shrimp was well cooked with just the right amount of heat.
My only suggestion to improve the dining experience is to expand the wine menu. How about some local wines and at least one Cabernet.

Another sister restaurant to La Cosecha, Mayahuel abd Mesa Mercado, Octopus Baja is a welcome addition to this part of K street (pre-theater dinner at the Sofia, anyone?)

We came for happy hour on Saturday (a Saturday happy hour 3-6, Isn’t that nice!) and enjoyed the composed tacos and the bluefin tostada, that stole the show—so fresh and a great bite to share.
The cocktails were delicious, tried both the passionfruit and prickly pear margaritas, one with mezcal with and another with tequila. We asked for muddled jalapeño in them to spice things up, each was perfectly balanced.
We took their mahi mahi aguachile to go and it also did not disappoint. The service was attentive, the chefs are turning out excellent food and the decor is dreamy. Definitely reminded me of my favorite establishments Baja in Ensenada. Can’t wait to come back for dinner with friends.

We went during Octopus Baja's soft launch, and the food flavors and presentation are spectacular! They just added their first octopus dish two days ago, and it didn't disappoint. The passionfruit mezcal margarita was so tasty.

They did a nice job on the interior of the restaurant also, and they plan on adding an outdoor bar with seating in time for the summer months. Highly recommend ed!

Blue fin tostada pleasantly delicious the tostada is impeccable. It doesn’t break or crumble under each bite. It holds its shape, and it can actually hold the bluefin tuna very very well the sauce and the micro greens have a beautiful, beautiful balance, and on top of that there’s a nice smokiness coming from this its delicious.
Shrimp tacos I give a five out of five the balance and flavor on the shrimp is remarkable The sweetness from the mangoes and the savory from the avocado, gives it a perfect blend of the Baja flavors that I’m looking for.
