Lock and Key’s new brunch is sooo good! We are definitely coming back to try some of the other dishes that sounded amazing. We had the pork belly benedict, breakfast flatbread and beignets. Everything was to die for! Our server Heidi was great and attentive. Would highly recommended. Can’t wait to come back and try the dinner menu.
Excellent service and friendly staff! The owner is awesome and very nice. The food is the best I've ever had at tapas. I will be a regular at this place and recommend it for a good night out or to watch some sports. The short ribs are to die for! So tender and a lot of flavor, definitely my favorite.
We went here to try their Dine Downtown menu. The atmosphere was great, the service was amazing, the food was really good but lacked in some areas.
The Arancini I thought was a little bland but the mango and fresno pepper grastrique was delicious.
The Beef Short Rib was delicious but the butternut squash puree was a weird pairing.
The “Key” Lime Pie tasted more like lemon meringue. Nothing special about it.
The churros were very good, airy, crunchy, and delicious.
I enjoyed my first experience at The Lock & Key. Such a cool, modern space. I appreciate the aesthetics paired with quality food. We ordered the ceviche, fideo y queso, Caesar Salad with steak and churros for dessert. My friend also ordered a glass of wine which she loved. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Overall a good dining experience.
This place used to be the Red Rabbit Kitchen, which closed down. I was excited to try the new place (The Lock and Key), and enjoyed it overall. They had a kids menu, so I brought them too, although it has more of a lounge/bar vibe. Service was excellent, but a lot of the food used cheeses with funk (e.g., gorgonzola in the kids Mac and Cheese). It was certainly tasty, but a bit challenging for the little ones.
