Love this place! Their habenaro salsa is top-notch. My first taste was thinking it was cheese sauce and getting heaping chipfull and regretting everything. I keep coming back for more. Great price, better flavor beats all other places like it. Even the famous Chando's.
They are organized and ready. I like their set up. Their salsa options and pickled veggies are good. Tacos are ok. Nothing stood out. I want to try again to see if it's different.
I guess they are back.
So my so long wanting to review:
Fast to serve, literally if there is a 10 people line u be out eating in 5 minutes, yes... if u order or someone has a large order it be slower but even then Its not slow as ALL .. yes all the other taco stands, period.
Now taste its definitely there but I wont go on loving it. For example Pastor is... not traditional pastor, the gyro its just for show, they do have a flame on it but they just cut and finish cooking in the flat grill. The meat is they serve has been fully cooked, cut and put on holding containers and kept warm... thus makes the meat kinda dry.
1 star for decent taste, 2 stars for fast service, 1 star for decent clean, 1 star for the horchata water.
Minus one star because of almost no parking since they gated the lot ...again
We've been coming here for over a year, almost weekly(except when you don't show up...it sucks) :~) The Al Pastor is incredible! We're not into the tripa/lengua things so we stick to the Carnitas, Carne Asada, and the AL Pastor. Great tacos, burritos and my new favorite, mulitas! The sacuses, grilled onions and other toppings are always fresh. Good drinks, too.
Please... find a way to let people know when you will/won't be there. Tonight you're not where you should be and now we have to have pizza :~(
I'm glad to see your crowd of people growing. A sign you are doing things right! -Brian
