“Got the enchiladas and some guacamole for dinner. The enchiladas were basically a handful of cheese, a tortilla, and what seemed to be some red enchilada sauce that might have come straight from a can. Perfectly adequate, but nothing I would seek out. I don’t know what was in the guacamole, but I don’t think there were any avocados. Definitely pass on that. There are so many good Mexican restaurants in Sacramento, and these guys don’t do anything to stand out from the crowd. Only reviewing at the request of the restaurant.”

“Great food, was in town from AZ visiting some friends. The first night we wanted to go out and no dine in... They seated us on the patio, and had a wonderful evening. Going way out there I had the rib eye steak and it hit all the right notes. My wife had the chicken coconut soup and it was the best we have had. The food was so good 2 nights later we stopped in for quick takeout back to the hotel. One again the food hit all the right notes. If we lived around Sacramento we would make this a regular stop. FYI the service was also amazing and the patio with the heaters made for a memorable time.”

“We tried this restaurant tonight and found the food to be flavorful and of generous portions. The orange eggplant was really unique and delicious. The cashew chicken was also delicious with a variety of veggies such as mushrooms, zucchini and broccoli. My only complaints is that the service was not super friendly and the menu was not very descriptive as to what veggies are in each dish. Highly recommend if you are looking for quality Chinese food.”

“This place is a Sacramento gem, I love this restaurant. Their food is delicious and the location is in a prime area. I typically get their pizza, lasagna, or enjoy any of their other pasta dishes. They also have really great beers, appetizers, and desserts. Outside seating is open in the front and the back, with heaters to accommodate your table upon request. They have adjusted very well to the new regulations. Definitely a wonderful restaurant to eat at if you’re local or new to Sacramento.”

Twice have gone by during their regular business hours and they haven’t been open, and just now called to order but they are closing early since they ran out of food completely. “Heat Shabu has the best food. This is a traditional Japanese hot pot style food. They have great service and a wonderful outdoor setup with heaters. We come here from Lincoln every week or two. It’s a 40 minute drive but worth every minute. It’s pretty much the thing we miss most about moving away from Sacramento.”

“The authors of the prior posts have zero taste buds or have ulterior motives. I had the artichoke pizza and it was AMAZING. I never write reviews but this pizza was so darn good I was compelled to do so. The crust was awesome and tasted nothing like cardboard. I brought leftovers home for my fiance who devoured it and said "OMG this is the best pizza I've ever had. Where did you get this? I didn't even want to eat ranch with it!" Don't believe the haters.
